This group can include a wide variety of individuals with varied abilities. People from this marginalized group can have physical, developmental, and intellectual disabilities. As many companies move toward skills-based hiring, hiring people with varied abilities will work nicely with that concept.

Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities: Hundreds of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities go to work every day in offices, stores, restaurants, and other businesses throughout Spokane. They're capable, hardworking, and take pride in what they can achieve. Physical disabilities can provide barriers to work for individuals.
Physical Disabilities:  Hiring people with physical disabilities may or may not require accommodation by the employer. Most work locations are already adaptive to many types of physical limitations.
